Lost/Damaged Voter Card?

How you can still pickup your permanent voters card.

If your Temporary Voters Card is lost or damaged, take a form of photo ID and a passport photograph to the same polling unit where you registered/voted in 2019. Verify that your name is on the distribution list for PVCs. If your name is on the register, you will be required to fill an attestation form to enable you to collect your PVC. You will need to verify your identification with the photo ID

If your Permanent Voters Card is lost or damaged the Independent National Electoral Commission can replace it.

    You can:

    • Apply in person to the Electoral Officer at your local INEC office or any other officer duly authorized for that purpose by the Resident Electoral Commissioner.
    • Your application shall be at least 30 days before an election
    • The applicant shall state the circumstances of the loss or damage
    • Then, you shall be issued with another copy of your original voter card.
    • The word “DUPLICATE” will be marked or printed on it clearly.
    • The date of issue will also be printed on the new voters card.
