What is a PVC?
The Permanent Voters Card (PVC) is an identity card issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to citizens who have reached the age of 18 years and above, and makes them eligible to vote in any election in Nigeria. The PVC is a card that stores information (biometric data) about each eligible registered voter in Nigeria. It is the only means and proof of identification for any voter to cast their vote in any election in Nigeria.
